I finished the pink and purple log cabin blocks today. I made 32 of them - the plan was to lay them out 5 x 6, with a couple of extras, just in case. I never did the math to figure out how big they would be. It turns out they are approximately 9 1/2 x 9 1/2 inches square. Laying them out 5x6 will be kind of large for a baby quilt. Maybe I need to make 8 more, and have enough for 2 baby quilts?? I wasn't planning to add a border, but if that's the case, I might want to. What do you think?? Maybe a skinny orange border, and then a wider border of either pink or purple?

Make more, if it is going well. I like the idea of no border....these are beautiful.
I love the pink and purple combination. That really isn't too big for a baby quilt if they are going to use it for the baby to roll around on.
